Liverpool Shopping Park – Phase 1 opening

On Friday 20th October 2017, the first phase of the new £100m Liverpool Shopping Park is set to open.

The 727,000 sq ft development will open the doors to Boots, H&M, Arcadia, Smyths and JD Sports, with further stores; River Island, Subway, Chiquitos and The Works due to open next week.

Associate Director, Ross Huntingdon comments on the opening, “Liverpool Shopping Park has been a great project for us. It has been a great journey working with the Client in order to bring their vision forward.

The delivery of such a large scale fashion retail park has been a real collaborative effort between the Design team, Future Tenants and Liverpool City Council. We look forward to its opening and its future success.”

Director, Nigel Machin has been with AEW Architects for just over 18 years and is currently responsible for multiple high value, out-of-town retail schemes. Nigel comments “We’re delighted to see the first set of stores opening at Liverpool Shopping Park on Friday. This project will certainly benefit the local community and indeed, those further afield. It has been a pleasure working with our Client and the wider team.”
