We're looking for an Architectural Job-runner who's dynamic, dependable, and hardworking.

We are looking for a dynamic, dependable, and hardworking individual with a strong design ethos, equally good technical awareness, and highly developed inter-personal skills. You will need to have good client-facing, job running capabilities, and enjoy operating in a high-energy environment.

Some previous experience of the retail / food and beverage sector would be beneficial but isn’t crucial – the successful candidate will receive a full induction and specialist training specific to the retail workstream. The role will involve travel to sites across the UK & Ireland, so a current driving licence and flexibility to travel is essential.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for heading up a small ‘sub-team’ to design and deliver projects within a designated region or ‘patch’. You will be the first point of contact for a number of key personnel. As part of the role, you will be expected to:

  • Provide excellent, personally led, client services to ensure repeat business, keeping in regular contact with key client contacts via meetings, phone calls, emails etc.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of and appropriate involvement with all projects under your control, working across all stages, from initial brief through all the way through to completion / handover.
  • Complete project trackers in conjunction with the team co-ordinator to ensure we meet set KPIs.
  • Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the UK planning process, building regulations, and other relevant legislation to enable you to support less experienced team members.
  • Oversee the work of other team members, utilising internal tracking documents to plan, manage and monitor resources and capacity against workload, as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and scope of works documents.
  • Show an awareness of financial management of projects under your control..
