We’re an AJ100 Practice!

We’re excited to announce we’ve been named in the AJ100 for the first time! Alongside this brilliant achievement, we’ve also been shortlisted for the ‘New Member of the Year’ award – the only Manchester headquartered finalist on the list.

The AJ100 celebrates the UK’s most innovative, ambitious and successful architectural practices, based on the number of qualified architects employed. The New Member of the Year award is eligible to new entrants to the list and those appearing for the first time in five years. The newcomer award will be judged on both business success and quality of work and we line up against six other firms.

Not only has our practice grown to meet our diverse portfolio of work in recent years, but we have also developed from within. Our increased number of Architects is in large part down to the number of Architectural Assistants we have mentored throughout their professional studies and we look forward to welcoming the next cohort very soon. Outside of Architectural roles, we’ve also reinforced our BIM, Sustainability and Central Support functions to help future-proof our integrated service offer and maintain our high client satisfaction levels.

MD Andy Rainford said:

“Joining the renowned AJ100 is a testament to our amazing team and clients whose hard work and trust have enabled us to continue to grow our practice. We are continually striving to improve our business for the benefit of our team, clients, the communities we work in and the environment and it’s great to see this being recognised with another accolade. We can’t wait to join the awards ceremony in June and look forward to meeting all the other talented practices then.”

2023 is proving to be a landmark year for the practice. It commenced with securing B Corp Certification at the start of January, being shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year at the Insider NW Property Awards and most recently it saw us make the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List.
