Planning submitted at Manchester Business ParkPlanning

We’ve supported Ask Real Estate in submitting a planning application for a new employment-led development at Manchester Business Park. The 7.8-acre site off Aviator Way is the final plot to be developed within this established business park near Manchester Airport.

The proposals will deliver 115,000 sqft of flexible last-mile accommodation, comprising nine units ranging from 6,700 sqft to 21,700 sqft. Designed for modern occupiers across hi-tech industries, aviation, and logistics, the development embeds sustainability, with all units targeting BREEAM Excellent and EPC A and designed to be net zero in operation.

As the last remaining plot at the business park, the scheme has been carefully designed to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings. Proposals were finalised following public consultation to reflect feedback from local businesses and the community.

Once operational in summer 2027, the project is expected to generate a GDV of around £30m and create new employment opportunities across multiple sectors.

Director Alex Southall said: “Reaching this milestone is a fantastic step forward for Manchester Business Park. Our design focuses on sustainability, flexibility, and future-proofed spaces that will attract a diverse range of businesses and create meaningful employment opportunities. We’re proud to contribute to a development that strengthens one of South Manchester’s most important commercial hubs.”
