Shortlisting Success at the Inaugural Manchester Property Awards

We’re excited to share that AEW and several of our recent projects have secured nine shortlistings in the inaugural Manchester Property Awards.

Delivered by UK Business Events Ltd, the Manchester Property Awards recognise companies and projects across Greater Manchester, one of the UK’s most dynamic property markets. The new awards programme has been built on three principles: independent judging, transparent criteria and meaningful recognition.

The independent, expert-led judging panel comprised senior leaders from across Greater Manchester’s property, development and professional services sectors.

We submitted entries for Architectural Practice of the Year and, in partnership with Oldham Council, for Retrofit of the Year with The Spindles, The Market and The Loom, Oldham. Both were successfully shortlisted. In addition, five further projects for which we were architect were shortlisted across a range of categories. See the full list of projects below:

• Architectural Practice of the Year: AEW Architects
• Retrofit: The Spindles, The Market and The Loom, Oldham and Stockroom, Stockport
• Regeneration: Stockroom, Stockport and Moor Lane, Bolton
• Affordable Housing Project of the Year: Parkmount, Harpurhey
• Residential Project of the Year: Riverpark, Manchester and Embassy Village, Manchester
• Manchester Property of the Year: Embassy Village, Manchester
