We Are Taking on the Peak District Ultra Challenge

For the first time, a brave group of our team are taking on the Peak District Ultra Challenge between the 28^th – 29^th June in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of children being treated in nearby children’s hospitals. In these facilities families can rest, cook and spend time together and stay close to their children in very difficult circumstances. We work closely with Ronald McDonald House helping them deliver a number of their 14 Houses across the UK, including RMH Evelina, London and RMH Oxford.

In total, 24 members across our practice will take on the Ultra Challenge and will help raise much needed funds for the charity. This will involve a challenging walk around the Peak District, alongside teams of veterans and other supporters. Our teams will complete either the full 100km, a 25km or a 10-mile route across the weekend. The full 100km route takes a northern loop of the Peak District through the outstanding beauty of the area.

Lucy Lees, who helped organise our team for the event, said “We’re excited to take on the Peak District Ultra Challenge this summer in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. At AEW, we’ve built a strong relationship with RMHC over the years, and this is another fantastic opportunity to come together as a team, push ourselves, and raise money for a cause that really matters. With 24 of us ready to lace up our boots, we can’t wait to hit the trails and make a difference”
